Patsy: “Crazy… I’m Crazy For Feeling So Lonely…For Feeling So Blue”

Patsy Cline – “I’m Crazy For Loving You”

In the age of Lady Gaga, I thought it would be nice to share some nostalgia about another pioneer female performer.

Patsy Cline was an American country music singer who enjoyed pop music crossover success during the era of the Nashville sound in the early 1960s. Since her death at age 30 in a 1963 private airplane crash at the height of her career, she has been considered one of the most influential, successful and acclaimed female vocalists of the 20th century.

“I Was So Wrong For So Long”

“So Wrong” by Patsy Cline, is from her 1962 Sentimentally Yours album. When asked in a radio interview about her vocal stylings, Cline stated, “Oh, I just sing like I hurt inside”.
